Day 21: Carry the First With You

Welcome to Day 21! We made it! And I need you to hear this clearly, I am so proud of you.

Today marks the end of our 21 Day Fast, but not as a finish line. It’s a threshold. A moment where we pause, look back with gratitude, and step forward with faith.

For the past three weeks, you chose to give God the first of your year.
Your attention.
Your appetite.
Your discipline.
Your obedience.
Your yes.

That matters more than you know.

Fasting doesn’t end because God is finished working. It ends because what was planted now needs room to grow. What began in surrender is meant to be lived out in faith, obedience, and trust.

And I want to say this boldly, because God is faithful, I fully expect signs, wonders, and miracles to follow this season. Not because we fasted perfectly, but because we trusted God’s Word, honored Him with our first, and stepped out in faith together.

You may not be able to name everything God has done yet, and that’s okay. Some seeds take time to surface. But something has been set in motion. A new rhythm. A deeper hunger. A greater sensitivity to God’s presence. A confidence that He meets His people when they seek Him.

As you prepare to break the fast, do it thoughtfully. Do it gratefully. Do it with intention. Ask God to help you carry forward what He has formed in you, not just into this year, but into your everyday life.

Scripture calls this first fruits. Not just the first days of the year, but a way of living that says, “God, You come first in all things.”

So let this be our prayer today,
“Lord, help me live from what You’ve formed in me.”
Today’s Encouragement
  • Thank God for meeting you in this fast
  • Carry forward what He has revealed
  • Continue putting Him first with confidence
Scripture Reading
Proverbs 3:9–10
“Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled…”
These 21 days were a gift.
And what comes next will be even greater.

Well done for staying.
Well done for trusting.
Well done for giving God your first.

I believe with all my heart that God is going to show Himself faithful in the days ahead.
